High Holiday Services 2023
~All of our services this year will be Hybrid, a combination of in-person and zoom attendance~
**Any adult(s) &/or child(ren) who are members of CBI are entitled to seats as a courtesy of their membership.**
ALL GUESTS must PRE-REGISTER on the front page and follow the guidelines below:
- In-Town Members who bring guests — $100/ guest
- Out-of-Town Members who bring guests (or non-relative)– $50/ guest
- Non-affiliated guests– $200/ guest (must pay & register in advance)

- Checks payable to Congregation Beth Israel & include names of guest(s) in memo
Rosh Hashanah Services
- Evening Shabbat Service (Day 1) – Friday September 15th at 7:30PM
- Morning Service – Saturday September 16th 9:00 AM (Including Torah Services & Sermon; entire service will last about 2.5 hours)
- Morning Service (Day 2) – Sunday September 17th 9:00 AM (Including Torah Services & Sermon; entire service will last about 2.5 hours)
- Tashlich following Day 2 services (meet at the Quittapahilla Creek and ritually toss away our sins!)
Yom Kippur Services
- Kol Nidre Service – Sunday September 24th at 6 PM Promptly
- Monday, September 25th
- Morning Service 9:00 AM (Including Torah Services, Sermon & Yizkor; entire service will last about 2.5 hours)
- Learning Session 5 PM
- Mincha 6:15 PM
- Neila 6:45 PM
- Sounding of Shofar 7:38 PM
- Come and break the fast with fellow congregants afterwards!
Sukkot Service (Shacharit)
- Friday September 29th (Day 1) – 7:30 PM
- Saturday September 20th (Day 1) – 9:30 PM
- Sunday October 1st (Day 2) – 9:00 AM
Shemini Atzeret / Simchat Torah Services
- Friday Shabbat Service- October 6th – 7:30 PM
- Saturday Shabbat (w/ Yizkor)- October 7th – 9:30 AM
- Simchat Torah combined services with Beth El of Lancaster on Saturday October 7th at 7:30 PM (1836 Rohrerstown Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601)
- Simchat Torah Hybrid Services back at CBI— Sunday October 8th at 9:00 AM
