Located in the city of Lebanon at Oak and Eighth Streets, Beth Israel Synagogue serves as a focal point for Jewish life in the Lebanon area. The synagogue building includes a 200-seat Sanctuary, an adjacent Sisterhood Hall, a larger gymnasium/social hall, a library/chapel, three classrooms and a study.
Although Beth Israel is a Conservative congregation, we welcome Jews of all religious backgrounds as members. An active membership supports a full-time spiritual leader, a religious school, and Sisterhood.
In addition, the congregation brings in a Cantor for the High Holy Days.
