Cantor Marilyn Selby Okoshi– Spiritual Leader at Congregation Beth Israel since 2023. Ordained as a hazzan by the Jewish Theological Seminary where she also earned Master’s degrees in Sacred Music and Jewish Educational Leadership. After practicing corporate and securities law for over 30 years, Cantor Selby Okoshi returned to her love of Jewish studies and pedagogy. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese & Japanese. Served in Conservative, Reconstructionist, and Reform congregations as service leader and teacher. She believes in welcoming all to participate and learn about our Jewish heritage and traditions.
Samantha Parmer – Office Manager– Been with CBI since 2021, She is tasked with the job of ensuring that our synagogue functions successfully, and is involved in all aspects of in the Congregation’s longevity. She has over 15 years of managerial experience working for banks and financial companies ensuring communication between our Board, members and staff. “Sammi/Sam” resides in Lancaster, and enjoys her time learning & growing professionally.
Duane Daly – part-time Custodian– Tasked with maintaining the cleanliness & operations of our synagogue. Duane takes pride and care to ensure a safe & healthy environment for all of our members, staff & guests.
