Sale of Chametz

AUTHORIZATION FOR SALE OF CHAMETZ

NOTE: If possible, all Chametz – food not acceptable during Pesah (Passover), or materials containing such unacceptable food – should be destroyed or given away before the holiday begins. Should this be impossible, ownership of the chametz may be transferred to a non-Jew for the duration of the holiday. All such chametz should be stored separately from your own belongings and in such a way that it will not be used. To authorize the Cantor to act as your agent in selling chametz for you, please complete the form below no later than Friday April 19, 2024

I, the undersigned, fully empower and permit Cantor Okoshi to act on my behalf to sell all chametz possessed by me – knowingly or unknowingly – as defined by Torah and rabbinic law, and to
lease all places wherein chametz owned may be found. If full payment for such sold chametz is not received by Cantor Okoshi by April 30, 2024, ownership of such chametz will automatically revert to me at the conclusion of the Passover holiday.
